Forward Motion With Chad

Summary

This week Cal and Leanne sit down with Chad Wright, the Founder of Forward Partners, to discuss burnout, loneliness, and the importance of rest in healthy leaders.

After decades of working with fellow business owners, Chad Wright was tired of seeing leader after leader burn out. Having experienced it himself multiple times, he began to question why this was so commonโ€”surely, there had to be a way to lead that didnโ€™t require sacrificing our well being.

These questions led him on a journey to create Forward Partners, a leadership development, and coaching company. The insight gained over 25 hard-fought years in business now enables him to impact the lives of leaders across the spectrum, from CEOs to pastors to police officers. Over the next 40 years, Chad and his team will transform the future of leadership by impacting millions of leaders worldwide.

Authentic Self with Juliane Nowe

Summary

This week, we sat Down with Juliane Nowe (@julianenowe_) of the Lady Nowe Show to talk healing, cannabis, reiki, yoga, and more.

When Juliane was a child, she lost the ability to speak. As she struggled to regain the sound of her voice she also grappled with along lists of other symptoms. Years of doctor’s appointments and western medicine could never provide answers or resolutions. Often overwhelmed with thoughts of helplessness, Juliane spent years desperate for healing, eager to live a life that felt fulfilling and to live the width of her days, rather than just the length of the time that she had.

In the search to reclaim her health, she discovered treatments including Reiki, yoga, and Chinese Medicine. By shifting her focus, leaning into these modalities of natural healing, and quieting the noise of being unwell she found herself feeling more healthy.

The strength that she gained helped her to listen to a deeper truth inside herself that she could trust that her body knew how to be well.

Through her journey, she regained the literal sound of her own voice again. And now, she dedicates her life to sharing her voice, and her truth, with men, women and their families, to help them to listen to their own knowing voices.

To view Juliane’s courses, content, and offerings on how to guide you back to YOUR inner voice follow @julianenowe_ or http://www.julianenowe.com

โœ๐Ÿป A message from Juliane โฌ‡๏ธ

In sharing the voice that I almost lost I know that I am able to inspire others who feel certain there must be another way. I can support those who feel helpless and are lacking hope by reaching out to help them quiet themselves, aligning with them, providing a Kula for them, so that they can hear the voice of knowing that is always singing inside, with a single, simple promise: โ€œYou are safe.โ€

I love the way you smile when you talk about what you love.

Our guest this week was Juliane Nowe, and in this segment, we discussed her and her partner, Fabian’s dedication towards treatment for veterans post-combat.

Fabian is a Canadian Army Veteran and medical marijuana advocate. In 2013, he founded Marijuana For Trauma, a chain of medical Marijuana clinics across Canada with over 12,000 registered patients. After completing an RTO with Licensed Producer Abba Medix in 2016, Fabian donated 100% of his ownership to a charity for veterans called Global Alliance Foundation Fund (GAFF). He is the founder and director of Breton CannaPharms and president and founder of the Global Alliance Foundation Fund, which helps veterans recover from trauma.

Together, they have combined their love of people, plant-based medicine, and healing to give veterans the extended care they so desperately deserve.

Knowing yourself is an easy way to not be persuaded, to stand up for yourself, and not have the urge to defend. โ €

It also is one of the keys to unlocking happiness, having less inner conflict, self-control, vitality, pleasure, easier decision making, tolerance, and an understanding of others. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
To know who you are is everything and we are so proud to know, Juliane Nowe. To tap into these parts of your own self, Juliane offers classes, courses and coaching – visit http://www.julianenowe.com for more!
Around here, we like to connect with people that are continuously learning and growing and finding what works best for them, while giving themselves enough grace and space to change their minds when they learn new information. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Saying that you are a master at something, implies (to some) that you know it all – and that no further education is necessary. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Learning alongside another human being is a gift – and we would like to offer that to you with every conversation we have.
Trusting yourself can sometimes feel like a rebellious act. For a vast majority, we are taught or experience life in a way that benefits others and not necessarily ourselves. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Trusting your gut and following your own intuition can lead to remarkable things. To trust yourself, all you need is to make a little effort, create self-love, and find the ability to look inward. Easier said than done… so, if you could use some guidance, we know some pretty great places to start. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
This week we talked about Universal Life Energy or Reiki with Juliane Nowe. She broke down the basics of reiki and shared some of her own experiences when combining Reiki and Readings with her clients. โ €โ €
A good support system can make all the difference. Luckily, the HTC community is full of individuals ready and willing to connect. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Who do you have on your team right now? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Who can you lean on in a time of need? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Research has proved that having a support system has many positive benefits, such as higher levels of well-being, better coping skills, and longer and healthier life. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Part of life is experiencing ups and downs -and we want people who understand us and can be depended upon during tough times. As humans, we need people who will listen to us and give us honest feedback.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
